This initiative is specifically designed to provide dental services to patients with mobility issues directly at their residences, ensuring they receive the necessary care without the barriers associated with traveling to a clinic.
How the Danthaja Home Visit Service Works?
To arrange a home dental visit, the patient or a relative initiates contact with Danthaja by calling the dedicated hotlines and requesting an appointment on their preferred date and time.
Based on the specific needs of the patient, Danthaja assigns a team comprising a dentist, a nurse, and a visit coordinator. The basic cost for the visit is communicated during this process, as it depends on the nature of the required service and the distance from One Galle Face Mall, Colombo 2.
Once the appointment details and costs are agreed upon, the Danthaja team travels to the patient’s residence in a dedicated Danthaja vehicle. Upon arrival, the team sets up a mobile clinic within the home to provide dental care on site.
Most dental treatments can be carried out during these visits, provided the patient’s medical conditions are appropriately managed. This approach ensures that patients with mobility challenges receive necessary dental care without the difficulties associated with traveling to a traditional clinic.
Basic Fee Structure for Danthaja Home Visits
Danthaja’s home dental visit service features a transparent fee structure based on the distance from One Galle Face Mall, Colombo 2. The consultation fee covers the initial clinical assessment, detailed treatment planning, and tailored oral hygiene instructions. Where necessary, a prescription for antibiotics will be provided.
